Easter Weekend Shenanigans

Did you enjoy your Easter weekend? Hopefully it was a three day weekend for you.

I had to work a half day on Good Friday, but after work I went straight to Lowe's to pick up some things for my projects this week. {:I definitely stuck out like a sore thumb in that place with my satin button down shirt and wedges:}

My projects for this spring break week are:
- building and painting my Pinterest bookshelf {:pictures to come:}
- making large pink flowers for my curtains in my office
- hanging my curtain rods and curtains in my office
- painting my front door
- and replacing the hardware in my bathroom {:this is almost done:}
- possibly painting my spare bathroom

Anyway, Friday night I went to our Good Friday service at church and it was INCREDIBLE. Then I went out for desert and coffee at a quaint Italian resturaunt with one of my favorite couples. Andrea & Brian
Saturday I got myself Easter ready by going to get my hair did and did a little more shopping for my home improvement projects. Then, Saturday night I headed into church for our Saturday night service. I got to sit back and enjoy this service while I served at our church's Espresso Bar on Sunday morning.
It was so creatively amazing
and worship was incredible. Loving the song "Victor's Crown" by Darlene Zscech, Israel Houghton, and Kari Jobe. So so pwerful in church this weekend.

Then Sunday it was back up bright and early, but there was something about it being Easter that made it a little easier to wake up. {:I use the word "easy" loosely because I definitely still hit the snooze button a good 3 to 4 times:}
It was cool to see all three of our Easter services packed! The second picture is a little blurry, but you get the point...booties were in chairs hearing the message of hope, grace, and salvation.
After church it was off to Mom and Dad's for Easter lunch and man was it fantastic.
Then I did what every good humanbeing does after stuffing themselves over a holiday meal....I took a nap! Only to wake up and have desert of corse.
My weekend was fantastic, but the good news is I still have 7 days before I go back to work!
