3 Mondays To Go

3 Mondays left in the school year. Can't believe this year has flown by and it's almost summer break. CrAzInEsS! I guess all those "old people" were right when they said time goes by faster as you get older.

This weekend left me refreshed and ready for the week ahead….I think.

Friday: I mowed my lawn (I hate this chore!) then went over to a friends for a cookout. It was such fun. I love the fun, late nights summer bring.

Saturday we had a Mother's Day picnic at the park with the ladies from church. I should have taken a picture but I was too busy enjoying myself that I forgot I might need it for this little post of mine.

After the picnic my mom came over and we went to the nursery to pick out flowers from my flower beds. I did the flower beds last year and it has been my goal since putting them in last APRIL to get flowers in them and finally a year later it actually happened.

Sunday started with another amazing morning at church. I got to sit by this beauty and her amazing momma. Her little earmuffs to keep out the loud music are adorable. And, Oh those cheeks.

After church I went out to mexican to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the 'rents. I came home and did the unbelievable I COOKED! I didn't just cook but I made three meals for the week. If you have been reading this blog for any amount of time you would know that I don't cook. I honestly cannot even remember the last time I made something other than spaghetti. Pathetic I know. But, Sunday I made chicken fajitas, spaghetti bake, and pasta salad. Go Me
I also circled up with this fur ball for a nap and finished another book "Altar Ego" (book review to come on Thursday).

Alright, so it was probably boring for you to read about, but it was a great weekend filled with the perfect balance of productivity and relaxation.
