Friday after work I went to my parents and declared it family fun night like I was ten again. The only thing that would have made it better would be if TGIF was on TV with all the classics like Step-by-Step, Family Matters, and Boy Meets World. If you are too young to know those shows, we can no longer be friends. JK…kinda
This is a picture of Dad demanding a recount during a fun, non competitive game of Yahtzee. Just for the record, I had the highest score of the night. Not that it matters or anything. See, we're not competative.
Saturday started of in a panic. I woke up to discover Gracie had somehow discovered the ant poison trap. OBVIOUSLY I panicked and called the vet immediately. Luckily ant poisoning isn't too bad for pets, they were just concerned plastic had become lodged in her GI tract. Poor girl had to eat a vaseline sandwich. But luckily she loved it…weirdo.
I canceled my plans for Saturday to stay home and keep a close eye on her. It worked out well though because on Saturday it was exactly one year since I brought Gracie home from the breeders. I never knew I could love a ball of fur so much.
I also switched out my winter clothes for my summer clothes and reorganized my closet. I know it's trivial but there is something very satisfying about cleaning. Don't judge ;)
Memorial Day I went shopping with my momma of corse. My big purchase of the day was a new refrigerator. You know you are
getting old maturing when you are excited about a new fridge. I also got this gem. Whatcha think? It was time for a new purse.
Then I of corse started watching the new episodes of The Bachelorette. Do you have any favorite guys yet?
Okay enough of the tortures boring details of my weekend.
I hope you enjoyed your long weekend and also took time to remember all the military men and women who gave the last full measure of devotion.
