The Stress from Living a Blessed Life

I was at a women's conference in February when one of the speakers said something that has really been stirring in my heart today. I'll tell you why in a second.

She said "most of our problems come from living a blessed life." How true is this? I have problems at work, because I prayed for a job that I now have. I have disagreements with my family because I am blessed to have a family I do life with on a day-to-day basis. I have car trouble and house repairs all because I prayed for these blessings in my life.

This thought came to me today as the Sear's man was leaving with my new fridge still loaded on his truck. Last Monday, I purchased a refrigerate from Sears. It was delivered to my house on Wednesday, but it ended up not being exactly what I thought I was getting. A little upsetting, but no big deal. I just went in on Friday and picked out a new fridge. They delivered it today only for them to never even bring it in the door because it was too large. {:I had discussed with the lovely gentleman at Sears my measurements and he assured me it would fit WRONG-O:} After 2 wrong refrigerators I was in a bad mood and ready to just get my tiny, insignificant fridge I started out with back and call it a day.

It was then that God gave me the wake up call. I mean was I really going to let a refrigerator upset me this much?  Having the resources to upgrade my fridge is a blessing. So in reality my only problem was in response to Gods goodness and blessing of having a home to make improvements to. So why am I stressing? Kinda convicting huh?

This thought has definitely put some things in perspective for me.

Just a thought for the day. Maybe I just wrote this to share my thoughts with you, or mane God will use it to reveal things to you as well.
