This thing almost didn't happen

Phew, I didn't know if I was going to even have the energy to write this post today. With starting school last Wednesday I have been working 12 and 13 hour days just to prepare. If you know or live with a teacher you know the chaos that the beginning of the year brings and along with it the exhaustion! Then, over the weekend I spent all day Saturday painting and Sunday as well {:after church that is:}. You may have seen some of the work in progress pictures if you follow me on Instagram. But I just couldn't miss a Wednesday post right? I mean I actually got dressed all this week with work and all!

So here you have it…
My first day back I wanted to be comfy for a long day of meetings, professional, but also trendy.
  {:I mean it was my first day back after a whole summer of them not seeing what I wear - Im kidding…….kinda:}

Tank: TJ Maxx
Capris: NY&Co.
Sandals: Target
Necklace: Target
Bracelet: Forever 21
Watch: Fossil

Thursday was a work in your classroom kind of day so I needed something I could crawl around in and sweat in. You all made me feel so good about this shirt looking cute the week before I busted it out again at work last week. So thanks for the encouragement.

Shirt: Kohl's
Capris: JC Penny
Shoes: Converse

Friday we had orientation. While this isn't what I wore to orientation, I wanted to look nice since parents that can't come that night are known to just drop in earlier in the day. None did, but I was prepared just in case.

Top: JC Penny
Jeans: American Eagle
Shoes: Sperry
Bracelet & Earrings: Charlotte Russe

Sunday I was EXHAUSTED! from painting all week and barely wanted to get out of bed, much less get dressed. This outfit was no fuss and allowed me to put very little effort in.
Chiffon Dress/Tunic: TJ Maxx
Shoes: Kohls
Necklace: JC Penny

To ring in the first day of school this year I chose my...
Pink Pants: NY&Co
Polkadot Top: TJ Maxx
&
Brown Wedges: Charlotte Russe

Yesterday, I wore my favorite hand-me-down dress from my cousin. {:Thanks Lacy:}
It was soooo comfortable to work in and the perfect length for teaching.
I have no idea where the dress is from but the shoes are Candies from Kohl's.

Happy hump day lovies
