The Kitchen Remodel Revealed

It's done, it's done. It's finally done! Shew I don't know who thought starting a kitchen remodel the week before you go back to work was a good idea, but it is nooooot. Oh, wait that was me. I never knew how hard so many decisions could be from what color white to paint the cabinets {:I went with high gloss:} to picking out granite, to deciding where to put drawer knobs. But, after over 30 hours of painting, 3 weeks of no countertops, and 3 weeks of washing dishes in the bathroom It is all so totally worth it. It turned out better than I anticipated. SCORE.

An up close look at the granite. It's called Calladonia.

This was how I spent many a days and nights.

The outcome is gorgeous, but the house looked like this for weeks.

Note to self: start the next home makeover project in JUNE!
