A girl walked into a closet

and it looked like this…
Then I woke up and remembered my actual closet is matchbox.

I only have 3 closets in my entire house and I have 2 of them jam packed with my clothes which makes storage around this house of mine next to nil. But, out of those two jam packed closets this is what I pulled out this past week.

Another Weekend, Another Wedding

Yup, three weekends in a row my weekend recap includes a wedding. This is the last wedding until June though…I think.

Friday afternoon I dashed out the door of work and up to PA for the rehearsal dinner. It was fun being around so many sweet people. The pastor that married the couple and his wife came down from Canada for the wedding. They use to be associate pastors at my church but went back home to Canada to pastor their own church. It was so good seeing them. I missed Debbie so much. She has been such a mentor in my life. This lady and her husband have mad wisdom.

{:Not the best picture of me but she looks great:}

Saturday was the big day. I got up pretty early for a Saturday morning, packed up all my stuff and headed back up to PA. I got there to do Cami's hair and makeup. She was such an easy bride to be around. Cool as a cucumber. I am so happy she liked her hair and makeup, but when your this gorg she makes the job easy.
The wedding ceremony was at the grooms uncles home and it couldn't have been a more beautiful day or wedding. 70, sunny, and not a cloud in the sky. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Just look at that scenery!

 Oh man these girls are so so much fun…this was after a good cry watching the father/daughter dance

SOO thankful for each one of these ladies in my life!
The groom sang to his new bride. If you knew him you would know that 95% of us at the wedding have never heard him sing because he never does it. It only made it that much more special. It was so sweet.

After church, I spent Sunday just catching up on work, taking my usual Sunday nap, and reading. Weddings sure take it out of you!

How was your weekend?

Friday My Dear

My Dearest Friday: You came so very quickly this week. So quick that I haven't finished all my work for the week. EEK! But, I will take you over Monday or even Tuesday any day! To my Foreign Love: Hanz Highlander. I am so very happy to have you back. Although, it was fun running around with your American cousins Frank Ford this week. I must say we got quite a few double looks on the road. But Hanz you are so much easier to park!

My Amazing Momma and Daddy: I am super glad you are back in town again. I missed y'all while you were down south with the fam. Dear 22 Little Pals: I have bragged about how absolutely amazing you are all year, but I must say your energy this week has worn me out. I guess I better get all I can of you now because soon you all will be big first graders and our time together will be but a memory (sniff* tear* sniff* sniff*). Sweet Little Newbie Friends: It was so good to meet you little ones at kindergarten registration Monday. You have some very big shoes to fill from this years friends, but  I can't wait to make my own memories with you. Please be good to me :) To Pastor Holly Wagner & Team: Thanks for having such a wisdom packed webinar on woman in leadership. The best part was it was like going to a conference in my PJs! Totally worth staying up a little later than normal for!
  Dearest Austin: I am so excited to come and see you this summer. I have never been to Texas and the tickets are almost booked! You have two of my role models living there and I cannot wait to reconnect with them and their cute kiddos.

Beautiful Cami: I cannot believe you get married tomorrow. How can it be that one of my "youth girls" is walking down the aisle tomorrow? Brings tears to my eyes. Can't wait to watch you come Mrs. Ethan Green. You are going to be a stunning bride (at least I really hope so since I am in charge of your hair and makeup!)

Why It's Good to be Single

Ok single ladies, let's be honest. It isn't always easy being single in a world of coupledom, but there are a number of things I have learned to love about being single. Might as well embrace the season you're in right?

One: I can dance the Cupid Shuffle and Wobble in the house like I have more color than I do and count it as a workout. I mean I could, not that I actually do that.
Two: I can decorate my house any way I choose including high heels and pink puffs on my shower curtain. I mean seriously what guy would allow a high heel as our toothbrush holder or a room with hot pink accents?

Three: No one is here to fight with me over what temperature the thermostat is set on.
Four: If I wanna eat chips and salsa for dinner no one will complain about a dinner without meat!
Five: Sports Center is NEVER on in my house, unless it's about Alabama Football.
Six: I never have to share family time on holidays. HUGE score
Seven: The toilet seat is always down! No falling in, in the middle of the night for this girl!

Although all these things are ah-mazing I will gladly trade them all in for my hubby one day, but for now I am thankful.

Refreshed

Ahhhh. This weekend was so good! Definitely rejuvenated this girl. It feels like I didn't do much and I guess I didn't, but I spent a lot of time with some of my favorite people. We also added one to the family. Yup, another wedding.

FRIDAY was pretty uneventful. I caught up on some reading and blogging. I purchased my domain name, but had the darndest time getting it linked to this one. Anyone know a tutorial on doing this. I have tried tons and the steps they are showing give me an error every time!

 SATURDAY I tried working on the blog again with no success. I gave up and went to hangout with my bestie. {:HUGE NEWS she's preggers again. OH I am so excited. Now there will be 2 sweet peas to love on:}
Then that afternoon my long lost little sister came over. Okay, she isn't really my sister, but she should have been. We had some yummy Chick-Fil-A {:I cannot get enough of that place:} and drooled over Zac Efron watched The Lucky One.
Meanwhile in Alabama on Saturday my cousin Paul got married. Poor Allie is stuck with our family forever now.

{:Aunt Paula and Uncle James:}
 {:Kiki: My great aunt:}

SUNDAY started with an INCREDIBLE message at church on faith.
It was also very cool to see Pastor Beth on stage for P&W with her daughter {:on piano:} and her son {:on electric guitar:}. Love being lead by that family.

After church I went to visit a friend and had just the most amazing and real conversations. The kind where you cry together, laugh together, and pray together.

Later on that day I went for a run. Go me! I cannot remember the last time that happened.
I also got the mowing and laundry done AND went out for a girls night!

My parents also celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary yesterday. Love them soooo much. Their marriage has blessed me and taught me so much.

Shoo, maybe I did do more than I thought. What an amazing weekend though filled with so much joy and happiness. My heart is overwhelmed. Thanks God.

Be sure to stop in next Monday because guess what! I have another wedding to go to this weekend {:I'm doing hair and make-up for the bride:} so there will be more wedding pictures. What girl doesn't love looking at wedding pictures, even if they are of total strangers? But you're welcome over to my little corner of bloggerland anytime!

xoxo
